Taylor Swift interrupts concert mid-song to send a message to Dublin stadium workers

Taylor Swift abruptly interrupted her recent performance on the Eras Tour after a fan in the audience needed help – and the singer ended up thanking the stadium staff in particular for taking care of the situation.

During the first of Swift’s three sold-out Eras Tour shows at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, on Friday, June 28, the “Fortnight” singer was in the middle of midnight part of the show when she briefly interrupted the performance to call security.

“We need help over there,” Swift said in a clip of her Friday night performance of “Lavender Haze,” but the music superstar noticed almost immediately that stadium staff were already taking care of it.

“Assuming you got it – great,” said Swift, 34, before sending a thank you message to all Aviva employees.

“Everyone that works in this stadium is incredible,” Swift raved before continuing with the song without stopping.

And some of Swift’s fans seemed to agree that the stadium staff were a whole different class. One of them told X: “The people in the stadium were really great though. They were constantly handing people water.”

Other Swifties applauded the 14-time Grammy winner for singing the rest of the song flawlessly, despite the interruption,

“Man, how can she be so cool,” wondered one astonished fan.

Someone else wrote: “I love the look of wonder and amazement on the dancers’ faces. They know her and are still in awe of her.”

Swift has two more shows in Dublin to come, where she will once again perform at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30.
