Man throws up during Nathan’s lemonade drinking contest

A moment of joy quickly took a grotesque turn when a contestant from Nathan’s Famous Lemonade Wine Contest suddenly puked all over the stage.

During the competition, reigning champion Eric “Badlands” Booker set a new record by drinking a liter of lemonade in 21 seconds, beating the previous record of 23.08 seconds that he had set himself.

With the win, Booker has now won every lemonade sip since the competition began in 2021.

However, this dominant performance was overshadowed shortly after Booker was awarded his championship belt. As Booker stood with several belts over his shoulders, the competitor to his right vomited the copious amount of lemonade he had just consumed.

The man vomited several times as the crowd groaned at what they saw.

Then Booker leaned over and patted the man on the shoulder as he was escorted off the stage.

The day’s celebrations also included the event that has become almost synonymous with the Fourth of July itself – the hot dog eating

Competition. Sixteen-time champion Joey Chestnut was excluded from the competition due to his sponsorship with Impossible Foods, so the 39-year-old Patrick Bertoletti of Chicago and took the crown with 58 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

To fill the Independence Day gap, Chestnut participated in an alternative event at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, where he ate 57 hot dogs in just five minutes.
