Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation’s Unconditional Love Gala starring Miss Peaches • James Lane Post • Hamptons Culture & Lifestyle Magazine

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation will host its “Unconditional Love” gala event on July 20th at 6 p.m. This highly anticipated event is not only a night of celebration, but also a major fundraiser that supports the shelter’s mission to save hundreds of animal lives each year. Proceeds from the gala directly benefit SASF’s rescue, medical services, training, adoption and foster programs, making it an indispensable part of the organization’s efforts to care for the local animal population.

The gala attracts over 300 supporters each year. Their attendance and contributions provide vital funds for the shelter to continue its life-saving work. Unconditional Love provides a lifeline to countless animals who depend on the shelter’s services.

This year’s honorees are a testament to the broad support for animal welfare in society. Dave Portnoy, a well-known businessman and social media star, is being honored for his achievements. Portnoy is the founder and owner of Barstool Sports, a media company based in New York City. He has millions of followers across various social media platforms and his influence has significantly raised awareness of animal welfare issues.

Honored alongside him was Miss Peaches, an internet sensation with a huge following. Her charismatic social media presence has brought the plight of shelter animals to the attention of millions of people and inspired many to support adoption and rescue efforts.

Cathy Bissell will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for her tireless commitment to animal welfare. Bissell, who founded the BISSELL Pet Foundation in 2011, has long been an animal advocate. Her foundation has become a major force in the fight to reduce the number of animals in shelters and promote their welfare through adoption and community programs.
