Michigan newcomer Brady Hart takes a swipe at Ohio State’s culture

Michigan Football has secured one of the most promising quarterback prospects in the 2026 recruiting class, and after securing the commitment of Brady Hart, the new Wolverine immediately endeared himself to his fans by throwing a few jabs at Ohio State.

Although the Buckeyes were one of several schools to offer the quarterback, he chose Michigan shortly after his visit to the Scarlet and Gray, he said.

“When I left Ohio State, I realized that the culture that Michigan has is not found everywhere,” Hart said said in comments to On3 Sports. “There’s no place like Michigan.”

He added: “The opportunity to win is a big deal for me, and the opportunity to win at a high level and compete for a national championship every year is awesome. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Hart’s comments are sure to grab the attention of Michigan fans, who have boasted about the Buckeyes for the past three years and are reigning national champions in college football.

Hart’s signing is an important win for the Wolverines’ new head coach Sherrone Moore as he looks to maintain the program’s recent dominance following the departure of Jim Harbaugh.

Hart is considered a four-star recruit in the Class of 2026, the No. 92 overall prospect, the No. 15 player from Florida and the No. 9 quarterback, according to consensus estimates from major national recruiting services.
