Country music has a long and rich history, and some of that history is documented in homes that have become part of the fabric of country music. Some of country music’s most famous artists have purchased historic homes, while others have lived in homes made historic by their famous residents.

The list of country music stars’ most historic homes relies heavily on artists from the classic era, including Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, George Jones and Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and more.

These artists have all left behind stunning homes as part of their legends, but some contemporary country stars also reside in historic homes.

The 11-bedroom, 17-bathroom home has a total area of ​​23,988 square feet and sits on a 1.63-acre lot, making it one of the most expensive properties in California.

The lavish interiors include a master suite measuring over 3,000 square feet, three separate living rooms, seven fireplaces, a billiards room, a formal study, a 12-seat private movie theater with leather seating, a climate-controlled wine room opening onto a saltwater pool, three steam showers and a large dry sauna.
