Christina Applegate shares her “fight” with the contestants of “Love Island”

Christina Applegate is not into Love Island ASMR.

The 52-year-old Dead to me Actress explained on Wednesday on X (formerly Twitter) why she “quarreled” with the Love Island Production and its participants.

“I adore Love Island. I’ve seen every season,” Applegate said. “(But) I have a problem with the production and the contestants. Can you please stop making funny noises with your water bottles?”

Applegate is against “holding a straw in your mouth and chewing on it without sipping” and “girls with long nails that make click-clack noises.”

“And to add something to my Love Island Rant. White deodorant in your armpits in the heat is gross,” she said. “You are all very attractive people, so please use clear deodorant!!! White pussy looking like shit in the folds is not good. I’m just helping you be the best version of yourself. Haha.”

In the comments section, fans largely agreed with Applegate and complained about the tasteless appearance of the white deodorant.

“I hate when it curdles 🤢,” wrote one user. “It reminds me of something too graphic to share. I honestly can’t even type it.”

Applegate wasn’t afraid to answer, replying, “Well, I’ll say it for you. Yeast infection. That’s all I see at the moment.”

Love Island Participants have not yet responded to Applegate’s complaints.

The TV star is never afraid to share what’s on her mind. Earlier this week, she spoke openly about the emotional toll of her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis. Applegate announced her MS diagnosis in August 2021 and tweeted on Wednesday what she plans to do with her remaining days.

“There are things I want to do with the days I have left. I want to work with Shirley MacLaine,” she wrote. “And record with Cher! And yes, my days are so great. Just by the way.”

The latest season of Love Island USAhosted by Vanderpump Rules“Adriana Madix” premiered on Peacock last month. Hopefully Applegate can look past certain sounds and sights and enjoy the rest of the dramatic season.
