Preview of Action Comics No. 1067 offers retro Superman stories – Comic book adaptations and news about superhero films

The future of the DC Universe is uncertain thanks to the Absolute Power event. That is why we will be Action Comics deals with the story of the Man of Steel. For this purpose, Action Comics #1067 contains two retro Superman Stories, albeit ones without any common connection other than that they take place in the past.

The main story of Action Comics #1067 was written by Gail Simone with art by Eddy Barrows. The story is titled “Challenge From the Stars – Part One” and is set in the pre-Crisis era, as evidenced by Lois Lane’s mod wardrobe and the fact that she and Clark Kent work for WGBS rather than The Daily Planet.

The two reporters interview teacher Jefferson Pierce (aka Black Lightning) about the budget cuts threatening a local youth center. Of course, there is more to the cuts than meets the eye, and Lois Lane suspects chicanery is afoot. However, any thoughts of breaking the law are put on hold by the arrival of hostile aliens. This is, of course, a job for Superman!

The preview of the backstory of Action Comics No. 1067 highlights the romance between Superman and Lois Lane

The backstory of Action Comics #1067 is set in the recent past and is slower in pace. “In Love. At Work” was written by Rainbow Rowell and has art by Cian Tormey. It is set in the present day and is about the married Lois and Clark. The focus here is on the first couple from Metropolis and how they balance their work and their marriage.
