Who is Justin Bieber’s ex-manager Lou Taylor? That’s why he fired her

Trigger warning: This article contains references to drugs and sexual harassment.

There is a lot going on in the music business. It has been announced that Justin Bieber has split from his manager Lou Taylor. The singer signed with the well-known manager in 2022, but cannot imagine them working together again.

Shortly after Taylor was fired, the pop star joined forces with Johnny Depp’s financial manager Edward White. While sources claim his split from Taylor was “smooth,” there is speculation that a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs involved her company’s name and led to her firing.

Who is Justin Bieber’s ex-manager Lou Taylor?

Lou Taylor, 59, is a businesswoman and founder of Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group, which has worked with all of Justin Bieber’s companies in 2022. She is a leading figure in the entertainment industry in the United States and has an extensive list of celebrity clients.

Their company works with musicians, actors, entertainers and athletes and strives to identify and meet their clients’ needs “before they even know they have them,” according to Tri Star Sports’ official website.

According to Flip The Media, Taylor’s best clients include Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Gwen Stefani, Priyanka Chopra, Reba McEntire, Mary J and Florida Georgia Line.

Despite being a famous mogul in the industry, Taylor has been involved in numerous controversies in the past. She was reportedly involved in setting up Britney Spears’ 13-year-old conservatorship through her father. In the pop star’s memoir, The Woman in Me, she accused Taylor of controlling her daily activities along with her accomplice Robin Greenhill.

According to Esquire, Lynne Spears also wrote in her memoirs “Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World” that Taylor was among the first to suggest conservatorship for the singer.

However, Taylor has denied the allegations against her.

There have also been rumors that she is trying to establish similar conservatorships for Courtney Love and Lindsay Lohan. Taylor is also linked to the infamous Kardashian-Jenner family in 2019 and was their business manager for many years.

Why did Justin Bieber fire Lou Taylor?

Justin Bieber reportedly fired Lou Taylor over bad press about her entertainment company. Tri Star Sports employee Robin Greenhill, who worked as an accountant for rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, was accused of overseeing payments to sex workers during a lawsuit filed against the rapper, Flip The Media reports.

The lawsuit was filed by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who accused Diddy of sexual harassment and drug abuse while Greenhill oversaw the costs, so the latest controversy has once again contributed to Taylor’s reputation being tarnished and led to the loss of her most important client.

According to People, Bieber had merged his companies Bieber Time Touring LLC, Justin Bieber Brands LLC and Bieber Time Merchandise with Tri Star Sports and Entertainment in 2022.

A source close to Bieber confirmed the news and hinted that it was a “mutual and seamless transition.” The Baby singer made the decision because their union “no longer fit,” the source added. Justin Bieber and Lou Taylor reportedly split in May 2024.

The update came just one day before Bieber’s former music manager Scooter Braun announced his retirement from the talent management industry this week.
