Famous DJ Alok remixes Allegra’s latest pop gem “Love You Right Back”

Rising pop star Allegra plays it safe in her dazzling new music video after an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on TV’s Saturday Mash-Up.

Allegra, 22, was caught out by a stuck zipper just before her final appearance on the BBC show in 2023. But her latest stylish outfit is zipless and “disaster-proof.”

The London-based singer chose an elegant, futuristic bodysuit for her video for her new song “Love You Right Back,” which was remixed by Alok, one of the world’s biggest DJs.

The star’s new look was inspired by ’60s film legend Jane Fonda in the raunchy 1968 cult fantasy film Barbarella, which is now being remade by Sony. The film combines sci-fi metal armor with an almost Spider-Woman aesthetic, creating an iconic look for her new music video.

A spokeswoman told Express Online: “Wardrobe problems are the bane of modern pop stars who like to take risks.

“Allegra’s zipper got caught over her bum just before her performance of ‘Round And Round’ on CBBC’s ‘Saturday Mash-Up’, but while some stars would have frozen or panicked, she calmly fixed the problem before her live performance.

“She’s such a professional, the audience had no idea.”

32-year-old Brazilian superstar DJ Alok was won over by her music and charisma. He said: “I first discovered Allegra through Tiesto’s remix of her track Round & Round and have been following her ever since.”

“When she contacted me about a remix of her latest single, I was thrilled at the opportunity to collaborate with such an amazing artist.

“She is extremely talented and it was a great pleasure working with her.”

Last year, Grammy-winning “Godfather of EDM” Tiësto created a chart-topping remix of their track “Round & Round,” which garnered millions of streams worldwide and earned him a number one spot on the Music Week Commercial Pop charts.

Other world-renowned DJs, including Tobtok, Full Intention, Majestic and R3HAB, have interpreted Allegra’s electrifying vocals in their own way and created dancefloor anthems.

She has become one of the go-to girls for world-renowned DJs, with more than eleven million plays on Spotify and over ten million views on TikTok.

She has done numerous interviews and appeared on television around the world, including on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.

A prominent figure in the global electronic music scene, Alok has collaborated with some of the biggest voices in contemporary pop, remixing works by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Tate McRae and RAYE.
