Keke Jabbar: Friend reveals details about the death of the star from “Love & Marriage: Huntsville”

The circumstances of the death of the 42-year-old Love & Marriage: Huntsville star Keke Jabbar’s death was recently revealed by her close friend and YouTuber JoAnn Jenkins. In a YouTube livestream on Wednesday, Jenkins dismissed speculation about her friend’s cause of death. New York Post reported.

“Keke did not overdose, Keke did not take her own life. Keke loved life. Keke was not ready to leave life. She was not ready to leave her children, her husband or her family,” Jenkins said.

Jenkins also revealed that her late friend was often sleepy and “went to sleep anywhere.” She said Jabbar decided to sleep after her car broke down.

“So, at seven o’clock this morning, her husband goes to the garage,” Jenkins said. “He sees Keke, who he thinks is sleeping in the car. He tries to get her attention. He opens (the car). She’s not breathing,” she continued.

“Her husband, her partner, her best friend tried to get his wife, the mother of his children, back, but he couldn’t. Keke died of carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s it. That’s all,” she said.

Jabbar’s family released a statement about her death on Tuesday, and blogger Marcella Speaks read it on her behalf. “It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love,” Speaks said in a YouTube livestream.

“She was a mother, a sister and a great friend full of life, love and laughter. She will be greatly missed and we ask for respect and privacy in this moment of grief as we process this great loss. The Jabbar family and the Scott family.”

According to Oprah Winfrey’s own television channel Love & Marriage: Huntsville is an unscripted television series that follows the lives of three influential African-American couples who come together to revitalize the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group.”
