Mini film series “The Will to Win” starts before the Olympic Games in Paris

Screenings of documentary films have begun as part of the “Will to Win” project for the Paris Olympic Games. This initiative highlights the remarkable determination and resilience of Ukrainian athletes who, despite the dramatic challenges of war, personal loss and suffering, overcome numerous obstacles to demonstrate their unwavering determination to the world.

In particular, a film about Ukrainian gymnast Viktoria Onoprienko is already available. “If you think and dream even more and imagine the day of the end of the Olympic Games, the last walk on the Olympic carpet. I really want to raise our flag and imagine how it rises. I want to dedicate my victory and my medal to all the defenders of our country and to my father,” said the athlete.

On 26 June, a multimedia exhibition entitled “The Will to Win” was launched in the run-up to the 2024 Olympic Games. revealedcelebrating the indomitable spirit of Ukrainian Olympians. This major cultural initiative was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and supported by the Office of the President of Ukraine. It was made possible through a partnership with the World Ukrainian Congress and the Ukrainian-American Coordinating Council.
