Shoppers looking for a powerful slow cooker that steams, grills, roasts and deep-fries could be tempted by a popular kitchen appliance with a whopping £125 discount on Amazon. The Instant Pot Duo Crisp with Ultimate Lid Air Fryer has up to six airfryer functions, alongside a host of other options, and uses steam technology to ensure it’s ‘super quiet’ while cooking in the background.

The product was originally priced at £219.99 but is now on sale on Amazon for £94.99. Elsewhere, John Lewis’ pot is selling for slightly more, at £99.99, while manufacturer Instant Pot is selling it for £219.99. The Instant Pot is made from stainless steel and has a black chrome finish, a 6.15-litre capacity and 1,500,000 watts of power.

The Instant Pot Duo Crisp offers a variety of cooking options, including sous-vide and sauté functions, as well as pressure-cooking meals that are ready 70% faster than traditional methods. The Instant Pot Duo Crisp preheats in minutes and cooks in about half the time of an electric oven, saving up to 80% energy, according to the manufacturer.

Another cookbook, The Instant Hot Pot Bible by Bruce Weinstein, costs £14.97 and contains 350 recipes, worth £350.

The Instant Pot itself has a 4.6 out of 5 rating on Amazon from 3,743 reviews. One enthusiastic reviewer wrote, “I love this cooker! It pressure cooks, steams, bakes, fries, and is also an air fryer! I’m so impressed that it can do all of this… I don’t use my regular oven anymore, so it would be great for a trailer, boat, or even camping.”

Another reviewer added, “So far I’m really impressed. I needed a new slow cooker so I was looking for one that would work with an air fryer as my son loves fried food.
