In Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, players can choose Juliet’s voice

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is already shaping up to be the ultimate remaster of the 2012 hack-and-slash action game and offers players a ton of extras. On July 4, it was announced that players can choose from at least four voices for the zombie hunter Juliet (source: Game*Spark).

In the original Lollipop Chainsaw, Juliet was voiced by Tara Strong in the English dub. In the Japanese dub, she was voiced by Eri Kitamura on Xbox 360 and Yoko Hikasa on PS3, with the option to unlock both in limited uncensored versions of the game. In Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, players can not only choose between Tara Strong, Eri Kitamura, and Yoko Hikasa, but also try out Yukari Tamura’s new Japanese voice of Juliet. Basically, you can choose your favorite voice from the four voices for Juliet.

Anime and gaming fans have probably heard Yukari Tamura’s voice before, as she has been a voice actress since 1997, often delivering sweet, girlish performances. She has voiced Tenten in Naruto, Talim in the SoulCalibur series, and numerous characters in Genshin Impact, to name just a few roles on her extensive resume.

In addition to giving players at least three Japanese and one English voice to choose from, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP goes one step further by offering over 480 possible costume variations for Juliet. Additionally, players have the option to play in Original Mode, which retains the game’s brutality, or RePOP Mode, which adds pop-art animations and tones down the graphical content.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is scheduled to be released on September 25th for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X❘S and Nintendo Switch.
