Taylor Swift stops the song in the middle to help a fan in need during the Eras tour show

Taylor Swift knows how to put her Swifties first.

On Friday, the pop star was singing her song “Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve” during one of her Eras Tour concerts in Edinburgh, Scotland, when she noticed a concertgoer in distress.

In a now-viral clip shared on TikTok, Swift is playing guitar while singing the lyrics of her album “Midnights” when her eyes suddenly meet a fan who needs help.

Without hesitation, the 14-time Grammy winner changed the lyrics of her song to make it easier for her security guards to spot the person in the crowd.

“We need help right in front of me, please, right in front of me,” Swift sang as she strummed her guitar and looked the fan in the eyes. “We just keep playing until we find out where it is.”

At one point she even used her guitar to point out the member in the audience.

“I’m just going to keep playing until somebody helps them, and then I’m going to keep singing the song,” Swift continued. “I don’t think anyone has gotten through to them yet, and they will. Because we’re not going to keep singing, we’re just going to keep talking about the people who need help before me.”

“Just let me know when. I can do this all night,” she added.

After the fan was helped, Swift continued her song right where she left off to the cheers of the crowd.

The pop singer’s TikTok followers showered Swift with praise in her comments section for her care and consideration toward her fans during the show.

“I think this is great because it really means she is looking at the fans during her shows🥺,” one person wrote.

Another raved: “The way she kept the river flowing was a testament to PURE TALENT.”

“How she doesn’t miss a single beat!” someone else applauded.

Last week, Swift came to the aid of another person – Lady Gaga – after she was confronted with “invasive” criticism of her body amid Pregnancy rumors.

“Can we all agree that commenting on a woman’s body is invasive and irresponsible,” Swift recently wrote in the comments section of a TikTok video posted by Gaga.

She added: “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation and that includes any woman 💋.”
