“Ho, Ho, Ho!” Biden celebrates the 4th of July with Santa’s famous greeting

president Joe Biden caused confusion on Thursday after he Santa Claus’ famous Christmas greeting “Ho, ho, ho!” at the Fourth of July celebration in the White House.

During the ceremony, Biden appeared on stage with the First Lady Jill BidenVice President Kamala Harrisand Second Gentleman Doug EmhoffAs Harris said, “Happy Fourth of July, everyone! Happy Independence Day! And today, as we celebrate freedom, as we celebrate the promise of America, we also celebrate our soldiers, our veterans, our military families and express our gratitude to them.”

She continued: “And we thank our Commander in Chief, the President of the United States, the extraordinary President of the United States, Joe Biden!”

Biden then shouted, “Ho, ho, ho! Happy Independence Day!” before declaring:

We must do what our founders did, show the world that we are a nation of dignity, honor and genuine devotion to one another. That is – no, I really mean it. Folks, it is about democracy, it is about freedom, it is about who we are. We are the United States of America and there is nothing like it in the world! Happy 4th of July, enjoy the fireworks! May God love you all!

Emhoff, Harris and the First Lady left the stage with Biden following behind, leaving him alone as he slowly shuffled across the stage.

After a brief moment in which Biden looked around in apparent confusion, he descended the steps of the stage and spoke to the audience.

This moment confused many social media users, who wondered why Biden would shout “Ho, ho, ho!” at a Fourth of July celebration.

“You can’t make this stuff up!” the Newsmax presenter responded David J. Harris Jr.

Republican Advisor Steve Guest tweeted: “Does Joe Biden know how to celebrate the 4th of July?”

Several prominent Democrats, including Obama’s former HUD Secretary Julian Castrocalled on Biden this week to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race following his disastrous performance in the first presidential debate on CNN.

Political analyst at CNN Carl Bernstein announced on Monday that several people “very close” to Biden have been concerned about the president’s “cognitive decline” for more than a year.

On Thursday, the Disney heiress and Democratic donor Abigail Disney announced that she would stop donating to the party until Biden dropped out of the race.
