Halle Berry admits to being “very angry” at Bryan Singer sometimes

Halle Berry has said she clashed with director Bryan Singer on the set of the 2014 film. X-Men Movie, Days of the future past.

The Hollywood star, who played Storm in the superhero series, said she got “very angry” at Singer several times and said “some swear words” out of “pure frustration”.

The 54-year-old said her behavior was triggered by Singer’s lack of concentration on set, which she said was due to his own “issues.”

Last year, a magazine article in the US alleged that Singer had sexually abused four underage men.

Singer has repeatedly denied the allegations and described the report at the time as a “homophobic diatribe.”

Speaking to Variety, Berry said: “Bryan is not the easiest guy to work with.

“I mean, everyone has heard the stories – I don’t have to repeat them – and their challenges and what they’re struggling with.

“Sometimes I was very angry with him. I got into arguments with him a few times and said a few swear words out of sheer frustration.

“When I work, I take it seriously. And when that is threatened, I go a little crazy.”

“But at the same time, I have a lot of compassion for people who are struggling with something, and Bryan is struggling.”

Berry continued, “Sometimes because of his problems, he just didn’t feel present all the time. He didn’t feel there.

“And we are outside in our little X-Men Stage, in Banff, Canada, we’re freezing our asses off in sub-zero temperatures and he’s not concentrating. And we’re freezing.

“You might get a little angry.”

Singer to direct 2018 Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody However, he left production before the film was completed after reports of “creative differences” with star Rami Malek emerged.

Following the allegations, Bafta removed Singer’s name from Bohemian Rhapsody Nomination for the award for best British film.
