Harley Quinn Season 5 Release Update; ‘Connections’ to Kite Man Series

Dean Lorey said that although Kite Man will not appear in it, his series will be tied to the fifth season of Max’s Harley Quinn “in an interesting way.”


Only two weeks left until Dean Lorey and Katie Rich‘S Matt Oberg-with HarleyQuinn Spinoff series Kite Man: Of course! hits our screens, Lorey has been making the rounds to make sure the highly anticipated animated series gets the word out. For this time, Lorey reveals that the fan favorite character will not appear when HarleyQuinn is returning – but his series will transition into the fifth season of the main series “in an interesting way.” But what about the obvious question – when will HarleyQuinn Will season 5 be released on Max screens?

“I know it’s before the end of the year,” Lorey told The Direct exclusively, confirming what was reported earlier this year. “I don’t remember the exact date yet. But I think it’s in the next few months. That’s what I know,” he added. Hmmm… that narrows things down a bit. Although Kite-Man won’t be in person for season five, Lorey noted that doesn’t mean the shows won’t have a deeper connection. “Kite-Man is not in Season 5 of ‘Harley Quinn.’ He’s not… See, he’s above it. He’s better… But I will say there are connections to Season 5 of ‘Kite-Man’ Season 1,” the series co-creator added. “Season 1 of Kite-Man leads into Season 5 of ‘Harley.'”
