Come on, girls! Shania Twain’s newest song “Waking Up Dreaming” is finally here.

After announcing the song on Monday, the Canadian superstar released the track – and its accompanying music video – on Friday.

The danceable song has a nostalgic and upbeat touch, and in the music video she wears a variety of colorful wigs and outfits – all with insanely long eyelashes.

Speaking about the release of “Waking Up Dreaming” on Monday, Twain said she gets “such an adrenaline rush and I’m so nervous” when she announces new music, adding that the feeling “never gets old.”

“I’ve spent the last couple of years working on new music… on my documentary… on my Vegas residency, and it’s been such a creatively fulfilling time for me,” she said at the time. “I can’t wait for this next chapter, and ‘Waking Up Dreaming’ is just the beginning.”

The promotional image shared with the announcement shows a seemingly topless Twain wearing a white skirt and boots in various shades of pink, while completing the look with a cowboy hat.

If the song were the first single from her next album, “Waking Up Dreaming” would be the opening track to Twain’s sixth studio album – her first since 2017’s “Now.”
