Get free Xbox credit easily

In this day and age where bills are high and money is tight, it’s always nice to save some money whenever possible, especially when it comes to our favorite hobby: video games.

Subscription services like Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus are fantastic because they can save a ton of money compared to buying just one AAA video game, with each service offering the potential for hundreds of video games in an instant.

Both Microsoft and Sony have good rewards programs that offer points that can be exchanged for free credit, video games, digital collectibles, freebies, and more. However, PlayStation gamers will feel limited at the moment, as Sony’s PlayStation Stars rewards program has been down for about a month at the time of writing.

Thankfully, Xbox players can still earn tons of freebies with Microsoft Rewards, which is also available on modern Xbox consoles. You can earn points by playing titles included in Xbox Game Pass, completing in-game achievements, or browsing the web with Microsoft Bing, as discussed on Reddit.

“What are the best, lesser-known features of the Xbox Series X/S?” asked Redditor Character_Chapter_41. “With Bing and the Microsoft Rewards app, I earn a $10 gift card every month by clicking for just one minute every day,” superpimp2g replied.

Honestly, if you’re an Xbox gamer and use the Outlook email service as well as Bing, there’s a good chance you’ve been racking up points without realizing it. If you have a Goldfish memorabilia piece like me, you can set up an automatic redemption feature and if you use the Xbox mobile app, it can remind you daily so you don’t miss out on points.

As the Reddit user above mentions, it’s easy to earn free credits that can be spent on video games, DLC, or digital movies. Trust me, with a little patience and persistence, you’ll be racking up points in no time.

You can even use the free credit to extend your Xbox Game Pass subscription for additional months or to purchase new video games, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle or Gears of War: E-DayThe world is at your feet.
