Love Island Fans reacted to the results of the recent reunion ceremony, which took place after a heated debate at Casa Amor.

The annual event sees existing Islanders split between two villas while 12 new singles enter the show. Old connections are put to the test while new passions surface.

On Thursday’s episode (July 4), host Maya Jama gathered the boys from the main villa around the fireplace as they had a decision to make: The group had to determine whether they wanted to maintain their existing connection or reunite with a girl from Casa Amor.

In total, there were three reunions of the boys, with Konnor and Trey choosing to reunite with Emma and Ellie respectively, while Ayo’s decision to team up with Jessica raised some eyebrows as it left Mimii single.

Fans discussed the decision on social media, with one viewer writing on X/Twitter: “Mimii stands alone, smiling and being graceful while Ayo can’t even explain herself and Jess starts crying OHHH MIMII I HAVE TO SAVE YOU #loveisland.”

After the final ceremony, the new couples are as follows: Konnor & Emma, ​​​​Blade & Grace, Sean & Matilda, Ciaran & Nicole, Trey & Ellie, Hugo & Jess, Wil & Uma, Joey & Jessy and Ayo & Jessica, leaving Mimii alone.

The ceremony also meant that the cast members who were not selected were sent home from Casa Amor. Diamanté, Lucy, Ruby, Moziah, Jake, Joel and Lionel left the villa after a short time.
