Gabe Kidd takes out Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega

– NJPW wrestler and STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd continued his provocative antics on social media. Yesterday, he shared a photo on his X account of Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho holding their respective IWGP title belts. Omega holds the IWGP Heavyweight Title, Jericho holds the IWGP Intercontinental Title and Cody Rhodes holds the IWGP US Heavyweight Title. There was a time when all three wrestlers and founding fathers of AEW were regulars in New Japan. According to Gabe Kidd, it was the “most embarrassing time” in NJPW when they dominated the singles divisions and held titles.

Gabe Kidd wrote: “THE MOST EMBARRASSING TIME IN NJPW 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 those damn nerds I would beat any of these men in 2 minutes 😭” You can see his comments below.

Of course, Cody Rhodes no longer wrestles in NJPW or AEW. He returned to WWE in April 2022. He is now the reigning WWE Undisputed Champion. Jericho and Omega are currently still under contract with AEW. Jericho also took part in the co-hosted AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event last Sunday. He teamed with Jeff Cobb and Big Bill and lost to Samoa Joe, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata.
