Taco Bell is joining the trend of inexpensive meals and launching a $7 menu offer this summer

There has been a trend recently for fast food restaurants to offer great special offers.

Now Taco Bell is stepping up its game and joining the fast-food discount war this summer, lining up alongside McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Burger King.

They serve the Luxe Cravings Box, a feast for only $7. It includes a Chalupa Supreme, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Double Stacked Taco, Nacho Chips with Cheese Sauce, and a medium soft drink.

Taco Bell said the box was packed with “full-size menu items.”

Taco Bell fans took to Reddit to share their thoughts on the generous offer, with one saying, “I wish I could trade the chalupa for something else. Other than that, it seems like a good deal.”

Someone else said, “I wish they didn’t put the hefty 5-layer in every single box, but other than that, it’s not bad for the price.”

“I mean, that’s a lot of food for $7,” added another. And another customer commented, “I think compared to their recent offerings, that’s pretty good value.”

This comes after McDonald’s launched its own $5 meal deal. The chain treats taste buds to either a crispy McChicken sandwich or the famous McDouble, along with four chicken nuggets, fries and a drink thrown in.

Wendy’s is also expanding its offering with the Biggie Bag, which now comes filled with a delicious sandwich or burger, nuggets, fries and a drink to wash it down.

Meanwhile, Burger King threw its crown into the ring on June 17 with the $5 “Your Way Meal” offer.

For the meal, guests can choose between a Whopper Jr., a Bacon Cheeseburger or a Chicken Jr., along with fries, four chicken nuggets and a soft drink.
