Could Chris Pratt make the leap into the DC Universe? He is definitely open to the idea.

Pratt has worked with James Gunn several times. Protector of the Galaxy Franchise, so it’s natural that people are curious if Pratt will join his old friend in the world of DC. According to a recent photo of Pratt visiting the set of Supermanthe speculation only increased further.

Speaking to TMZ recently, Pratt said of the possibility: “There’s always a chance.” However, when asked who he would want to play, he said that decision is out of his hands. “I have to leave that up to the fans and people like James. I’m not entirely sure. I’m really not sure,” Pratt said.

When asked more generally if he would be willing to do it at all, he replied, “Yes, of course.” He added, “If it fits my schedule and makes sense, I would love it. Of course, I love playing Star-Lord, and hopefully there’s a chance I can be back. I just feel so blessed to be able to do all of that and be considered for all of that. If it fits and the fans love it, I would be more than happy to do it.”

This is the second Guardian Star in recent weeks to discuss the possibility. Pom Klementieff recently shared that she and Gunn had talked about a “specific character,” but would not say who it was.

Gunn is currently producing Superman which is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 11, 2025.
