Who is Patrick Bertoletti? Meet the winner of Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest 2024

EVERY year, hundreds of people gather on the Fourth of July to watch contestants devour hot dogs in the hopes of becoming Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Champion.

At the 2024 contest, fans saw 39-year-old Patrick Bertoletti take home the winning title, and here’s everything we know about him.

Who is Patrick Bertoletti?

On July 4, Chicago native Patrick Bertoletti took home the title of winner of Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.

He finished the competition with 58 hot dogs, beating his personal record of 55 hot dogs and buns.

This is Patrick’s first victory in this competition.

“I wanted to keep eating until the job was done,” Patrick said after his victory.

According to Major League Eating, Patrick is the ninth best eater in the world.

Aside from his current victory, Patrick has 17 competitive eating world records to his name.
