Pitch, the modern and revolutionary indoor golf club, has announced expansion plans that will see the opening of four exclusive new facilities in the UK and Ireland.

The new venues will further strengthen Pitch’s status as the UK’s highest quality and most popular indoor golf club – and make the game more accessible and diverse than ever before. They include a third opening in London at Canary Wharf, as well as three joint venture openings in Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin.

Further domestic expansions are set to be announced in 2025 at locations in Brighton and one in London. Internationally, there are even plans to expand to Melbourne, Australia, as the post-Covid golf boom continues and a younger demographic discovers the game.

Whether you’re a complete beginner looking to build confidence to play on a regulation course, or an experienced player looking to utilise the skills of the club’s PGA professionals, Pitch has quickly gained a reputation as the ultimate indoor venue for all golfers. It offers a stylish layout with a relaxed atmosphere as a chic members’ club that also welcomes corporate bookings and regular guests.

Pitch venues have proven to be the perfect place for those who want to enjoy the game away from the restrictions and regulations of a traditional golf club. They offer a premium offering in a non-traditional setting suitable for large corporate events. Numerous multiplayer options mean that everyone can join in and enjoy different game formats – all while being part of the club atmosphere as they take on the virtual challenge of some of the world’s greatest golf courses, such as Pebble Beach in California and the hallowed land of the Old Course at St Andrews.

In an effort to raise awareness of the game, Pitch has also seen a notable success with an academy for women golf beginners – in partnership with Adidas – attracting over 1,000 applicants in its second year for just 100 free coaching sessions. There are plans to expand this initiative to the new venues.

Two venues have already opened in London – Pitch City near Liverpool Street in Bishopsgate and Pitch Soho in the heart of the West End – and excitement is building as the club is set to open a third in Canary Wharf in September.

The new venue in London’s central business district will showcase the best that Pitch has to offer, with premium pitches equipped with the latest Trackman technology to optimise the playing experience. A licensed bar and plenty of delicious food will allow players to drink, eat and play simultaneously, with on-site DJs and music complementing the relaxed atmosphere in elegant social spaces. As with all Pitch venues, there will be a premium area reserved for members.

One of the most exciting new openings at Pitch at Canary Wharf is the ‘TRENDYGOLF Concept Store’, which will be open six days a week and stock popular brands such as J Lindeberg, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, G/FORE and more.

Also in September, Pitch will launch an exciting new venture in Dublin when it opens its first international venue. Located in the heart of the city on the vibrant and bustling Grafton Street, Pitch Dublin features 10 Trackman pitches and a licensed bar serving Japanese fusion dishes. PGA-level coaching and individual club fittings are also available. There is everything you would expect from a regular, traditional golf club, but with a modern twist, tailored to a new type of player.

Preparations are well underway for the November opening in Manchester, in a spectacular location in the city centre’s Spinningfields district. This will bring the Pitch brand to the north of England for the first time, a popular location for shoppers and tourists, attracting over 5.5 million visitors each year.

And the ‘quadruple’ will be completed by a Midlands venue in the second city of Birmingham. The site – scheduled to open in early 2025 – will be centrally located by Snow Hill station and positioned to take advantage of the HS2 high-speed rail line currently under construction, which will run from London to Birmingham. With such high-end offerings currently lacking in the city, the venue is sure to prove a popular location for those looking to enjoy the best of a world-class indoor golf facility.

“This has been an important year for Pitch’s development and history,” said Elliot Godfrey, co-founder and CEO of Pitch. “Indoor golf has evolved enormously since its early days and at Pitch we believe we offer much more than just tee boxes where people can hit golf balls. It’s a social space and a way to play and engage with the game that is open to everyone.”

Co-founder Chris Ingham added: “Our vision is to put the club experience at the forefront to appeal to an audience beyond existing golfers. These new venues will expand our offering and increase the appeal of Pitch.

“Our openings in Canary Wharf and Pitch Dublin are particularly exciting as September draws ever closer and construction on these groundbreaking projects is already well underway. We can’t wait to open our first international venue in Dublin, which we believe will be just the beginning of our global expansion.”

Pitch offers both memberships and casual bookings with affiliated PGA professionals to assist with coaching. In addition to the virtual golf courses, the venues also feature their own DJs, lounges, modern food and drink options, community spaces and a golf fashion concept store.
