Briton feels ‘cheated’ after £21,000 champagne bill in Marbella club

A Marbella holidaymaker was left stunned after feeling “ripped off” by the prices at a particular beach club.

Chantelle (@chantellebradd) and her friend visited the famous Nikki Beach Club during their holiday, where they paid an incredible €660 (£560) for a two-person bed.

Chantelle was reportedly told she would get €500 back in credit to spend, but was soon told that “the credit does not include cocktails or food – just bottles.”

She admitted that they were not wine drinkers and thought it would be best to use the vouchers to opt for Pimms – which was not on the menu.

The TikToker then shared a clip of the menu, with the cheapest bottle of wine costing €545.

“Look at the menu, look at the price,” she told her 300,000 viewers. One of the prices was 24,995 euros (21,159 pounds).

“So, basically, you can’t even have the very highest room because we would owe you €45. So what did we just spend the money on? Basically the beds. The space, that’s all.”

Comments were disabled on the clip, but Chantelle later clarified that she had not researched Nikki Beach before her visit as she had only “come along” on the last-minute girls’ trip.

She described how her friend ordered a cheese platter for 30 euros and a chicken wrap for 27 euros, as well as coffee and water. Chantelle claimed that the employee charged her 230 euros for the bill.

“I went to Nikki Beach because my friends were there,” she concluded. “I’m not a ‘status girl’, I don’t give a shit about any of that… but it’s not a place I would go again.”
