Taylor Swift’s 4th of July Squad Through the Years

Taylor Swift has redefined team goals since she started celebrating Independence Day with her friends in 2013.

The following year, she invited a few more prominent A-list celebrities and from then on, the guest list got longer and longer.

In 2016, Swift’s 4th of July party was the hottest hangout with attendees like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne and the singer’s then boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston.

The Grammy winner took a break from entertaining friends at her Rhode Island mansion between 2017 and 2022. At the time, she was with Joe AlwynThe British actor preferred to keep the couple’s lives out of the public eye, but after their split in April 2023, Swift brought her party back.

2013

Swift’s first Independence Day party was a wild celebration with her dancers from her Red Tour as the only guests.

2014

Ingrid Michaelson, Lena Dunham, Jaime King, Emma Stone And Jessica Szohr everyone came to Swift’s house in Rhode Island the following year to say hello to the USA.

The girls took a dip in the pool, baked cakes and posed for an unforgettable group photo, which the “Wildest Dreams” singer described as a “family portrait” via Twitter.

2015

Some big names from the entertainment industry were also invited to Swift’s 2015 party. Ed Sheeran and Hadid were all present to toast America’s birthday. Hadid brought her then-boyfriend, Joe Jonasalso there over the weekend. Swift’s non-celebrity boyfriend Britany Maack Was there too.

Model Martha Hunt, Rich‘S Serayah and all three Haim sisters (Estonia, Danielle And Alana) all agreed. Swift’s then boyfriend Calvin Harris also came to join. The duo split up in June 2016.

The summer soiree included barbecues, bikinis and water wings, and patriotic onesies for the nighttime festivities.

2016

The Watch Hill estate, Rhode Island, became a party palace for Swift’s best friends Karlie Kloss, Ruby red rose, Uzo AdubaDelevingne, Hadid and Lively in July 2016. Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynoldswas also part of Swift’s summer crew, as was Hiddleston, who famously wore an “I Heart TS” tank top in the ocean. (The couple split in November 2016.)

Haim’s childhood best friend: Este, Sheeran, Maack and Swift Abigail Anderson enjoyed the fireworks with the musician. The group had a karaoke session in the house and danced by the pool over the weekend.

Swift paused her annual parties while dating Alwyn, from whom she split in April 2023. The singer then had a brief romance Matty Healybut their relationship ended in June 2023.

2023

The “Bad Blood” singer celebrated her single status by reviving her Fourth of July party. “Belated Independence Day from the independent girls in your neighborhood 😎,” Swift captioned a series of snaps of her troop that summer.

Selena Gomez and Este, Danielle and Alana Haim were all part of the relaxed weekend. Stylist Ashley Avignon rounded off the group.

2024

Swift was unable to plan a 4th of July party in the US as she was planning to Epoch TourInstead of hanging out in New England, Swift was scheduled to perform in Amsterdam over the holidays.
