KeKe Jabbar, star of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” dies at 42

Keke Jabbar, a reality TV personality from Love & Marriage: Huntsvilledied. She was 42.

Jabbar died “peacefully at home surrounded by love,” the family said in a statement to YouTube vlogger Marcella Speaks, who first reported the news.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke,” the statement said. “She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love. She was a mother, a sister, and a great friend full of life, love, and laughter, and she will be greatly missed. In this moment of grief, we ask for respect and privacy as we process this great loss! The Jabbar family and the Scott family.”

LaTisha Moore Scott, a cast member on the OWN reality series and Jabbar’s cousin, also posted on social media.

“In this moment of grief, we ask for RESPECT and PRIVACY as we process this great loss!” Scott shared on Instagram. “This is hard on our family!!!!!”

Jabbar’s cause of death has not yet been announced.

The OWN website describes Love & Marriage: Huntsville as a series that “centers on the lives of three influential African-American couples who come together to revitalize the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama, through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group.”

Jabbar co-starred with Scott on the reality series last year. According to Deadline, she was previously accused of using hard drugs and “using another person’s urine to pass a drug test.” She denied the allegations when she appeared on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville Reunion” earlier this year.

She leaves behind her three children, her husband, her parents and cousins.
