Rotary Club concert series begins in East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Fourth of July celebrations began Wednesday evening in East Longmeadow.

A crowd of music lovers dressed in red, white and blue filled the field in front of East Longmeadow High School.

The Rotary Club continued its concert series on Wednesday evening with local band Trailer Trash and a fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day.

“Rotary is all about service – that’s why we try to organize community events like the concert, carnival and fireworks,” says Kevin Cook, president of the Rotary Club. “We really give back to the community and organize as many events as we can throughout the year.”

Our own Jack Wu with the 22News Storm Team was there to host the event. Next week, Project 267 will take the stage.
