Starbucks Japan adds a Love and Peach Frappuccino to its menu for a limited time – SoraNews24 -Japan News-

A new summer drink that looks and tastes like a ripe peach.

It gets fruity with Starbucks in Japan this summer, with the chain giving us not one but two Banana Frappuccinos for the month of June, and now we have another juicy offer for July, this time with Peaches as stars.

This third summer release of the year is called Love and Peach Frappuccinoand according to Starbucks it is based on the concept “LOVE & ♡♡“If these hearts are meant to look like hearts to our eyes, then they certainly succeed, as the drink perfectly mimics the peachy appearance of the fruit with beautiful graduated tones created by layering peach juice and puree on top of a juicy peach pulp at the bottom of the cup.

▼ Love and peace, Starbucks style.

Although the drink does indeed look like a peach, it is intended to taste like one too, with the sweetness and fragrance intended to mimic the taste and texture of the fruit. The taste is intended to be so authentic that you feel like you are biting into a ripe peach, with a harmonious balance between the slight acidity of the peach skin and the sweetness of the flesh lingering on the palate with each sip of the drink.

Mixing it with whipped cream changes the flavor profile, creating a creamy taste that resembles a rich, luxurious peach candy. It certainly sounds like a tantalizing drink and we can’t wait to try it when it launches on July 10. The Love and Peach Frappuccino is only available in the large size and costs 700 yen (US$4.33) to eat in or 687 yen to take away. It will be on the menu until August 6 while supplies last.
