Julia Roberts is a Swiftie!

The Leaving the world behind The 56-year-old singer has no problem sharing her love for Taylor Swift with the world. In fact, one of Roberts’ first big concerts that she took her family to was the pop star’s concert. And the actress even shared the stage with Swift.

The iconic moment occurred during Swift’s August 2015 stop in Santa Clara, California, during the 1989 tour, when “Style” was played.

Roberts has spoken to the 34-year-old “Shake It Off” singer several times about her dancing.

Speak with Additional TV That same month, Roberts said her big moment (which also included a dance break with Joan Baez) was 100% unplanned, adding that she would have prepared better if she had known it was going to happen.

“I would have washed my hair. I would have on something like a ponytail, leggings and tennis shoes,” Roberts said.

Just before they entered the stage, Pretty Woman The star met Swift backstage with her children – twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, who were 10 at the time, and 8-year-old Henry.

“They had never been to a concert before and were huge fans, and she said, ‘Would you mind coming up on stage and dancing during the song?'” Roberts recalled.

Before agreeing, Roberts asked her children what they thought.

“‘Oh, Mommy, you have to do it!’ and my youngest son said, ‘Only do it if you want to, Mommy.’ It was so sweet!” she added.

At a performance on 28 April 2016 on The Ellen DeGeneres Showthe 66-year-old daytime talk show host told Roberts: “We’re both members of Taylor Swift’s team now.”

DeGeneres then played a clip of the Erin Brockovich Star danced with 83-year-old Baez at the August 2015 show, after which Roberts confessed, “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

“I don’t think it’s really worth watching,” Roberts joked as DeGeneres playfully criticized her dancing skills.

Next, DeGeneres shared her own stage performance with Swift, which showed the comedian dancing in a custom-made replica of the pop star’s costume.

Roberts also expressed her admiration for Swift when she Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in December 2023.

At the time, she explained why “Betty,” a song from Swift’s folklore was one of her favorite albums after Fallon, 49, mentioned that Roberts had referenced it on social media.

“I love ‘Betty’ and my mother’s name was Betty, so I love ‘Betty’ especially,” she revealed.

Recently, Roberts was spotted at a stop on Swift’s “Eras Tour” in Dublin in late June, where she chatted with the Grammy winner’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce (34).

Deaf artist and lip reader Jackie Gonzalez made headlines on social media for decoding the conversation, in which Roberts apparently told the NFL star: “I’m so uncharacteristically happy for you guys. I don’t want to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy.”
