Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 27 was recently released in Japan and covers the entire “Foolish Survivor” arc, Takaba’s fight with Kenjaku. Nobody laughed at the joke, whereupon Kenjaku asked them, and to conclude the sketch, Takaba was completely surprised to see Kenjaku in his classroom.

The live-action trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Volume No. 27 is very bizarre and not even that funny, but it is the best kind of trailer for the story arc of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga it covers. A big part of Takaba’s character is that his comedy style is too bizarre for anyone to understand, which is why he spent so many years failing as a comedian. Kenjaku’s presence is another reason why the trailer is so good. Kenjaku was the only one who ever understood Takaba’s comedy, which led to the strange friendship between them, and that’s why Kenjaku randomly appears in the trailer and makes a joke about what made his and Takaba’s fight so good..
