Lisa Vanderpump “inconsolable” after the death of her father

Lisa Vanderpump mourns the loss of her father John Vanderpump.

The 63-year-old “Vanderpump Rules” star shared the grim news on her Instagram on Wednesday along with a photo of the father-daughter duo outdoors.

“I will miss you dad… Heartbroken,” she wrote. “Rest in peace.🙏💗”

In the picture, Lisa posed alongside her father on a lush green walkway. The reality TV star looked chic in a white button-down shirt, black pants, a long coat and a Chanel handbag.

Her father wore a checked top and navy blue pants. They both looked in great spirits and beamed at the camera with big grins.

Lisa shared the same photo in October 2022 while visiting her family in the UK.

“Aagh, it was so lovely spending time with my dad in England where he lives… now at home,” she wrote at the time.

Lisa’s nephew, Sam Vanderpump, also shared her announcement on his Instagram story along with a photo of him and his grandfather.

It is unclear how old John was at the time of his death or when he last saw his daughter.

Several Bravo stars sent their condolences to Lisa in the comments section.

“I am so sorry Lisa, sending you my condolences and love ♥️,” wrote “VPR” star James Kennedy, and his co-star Scheana Shay added: “I am so sorry for your loss Lisa. Sending you lots of love 🙏🏻.”

“I’m so sorry Lisa 😘,” added Garcelle Beauvais, who appeared alongside Lisa on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

John, who worked as an art director at an advertising agency, shared Lisa with his late wife Jean, who passed away in June 2019 at the age of 84.

Lisa was “shocked and devastated” by her mother’s death, which came just a year after the death of her brother, Mark Vanderpump, who also died of a drug overdose. He was 59.

“Rest in peace to Mark, mom. A tragic year for sure. Thank you all for your beautiful messages and kind words. Life is so fragile and I have no time for negativity,” Lisa wrote at the time on X, formerly known as Twitter.
