How to make Jessica Alba’s turkey meatballs

Place 2 pounds of raw ground turkey, 2 whole eggs, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, and 1/4 cup each of finely diced carrots, onions, and zucchini in a large mixing bowl. Finally, add 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs and 1 tablespoon of sea salt. Mix the meat mixture together with your hands until completely smooth.

Using a cookie cutter or spoon, portion the meat mixture into 1-inch balls and set aside on a baking sheet. Tip: Sprinkling a little water on your hands can help prevent the mixture from sticking to your fingers.

Next, heat a few tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides until no raw meat is visible. Add a quarter cup of chicken (or vegetable) broth to the pan and continue to simmer until the liquid has evaporated and the meatballs are cooked through.

Then you can serve them however you like – dip them in tzatziki, combine them with rice pilaf, or toss them into juicy spaghetti. No matter how you serve them, you’ll always end up with a satisfying meal that the whole family will love.
