Keke Jabbar, star of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” dies at 42

Keke Jabbar, star of the reality show Love & Marriage: Huntsvillehas died at the age of 42, according to her cousin and fellow actress LaTisha Moore Scott.

“In this moment of grief, we ask for RESPECT and PRIVACY as we process this great loss!” Moore-Scott shared on Instagram. “This is hard on our family!!!!!”

At the time of publication, the cause of death was not yet known.

On Jabbar’s own Instagram page, comments from fans, friends and more poured in under her latest posts.

“I am absolutely devastated! Sending lots of prayers and hugs to your beautiful children, family, coworkers and friends. REST IN STRENGTH beautiful. No more evil spirits, no more lies being told about you, no more family drama… just PEACE,” one comment read. “My heart is broken because. We will miss you and pray for healing for the rest of the family!”

On the OWN According to the show, Jabbar and her cousin Scott had many disagreements throughout the series, including one time when Jabbar threw a drink in Scott’s face.

“Why do I keep giving this relationship a chance?” Jabbar said in a clip from the episode. “It’s so unnecessary.” Jabbar could be seen throwing a liquid in Scott’s face, after which someone demanded that she take a drug test.

When Jabbar spoke about this episode on a reunion show, she was asked by Carlos King if she had ever done drugs. She replied, “I’ve never done hard drugs. I’ve never done anything, heroin, cocaine, crack… I’ve never done anything like that.”

King then asked her if she had been “sober” throughout filming, to which she answered “yes.”

The OWN show, Love & Marriage: Huntsvillefollows three African-American couples who are successful in the city of Huntsville, Alabama and work on their joint real estate company, The Comeback Group.
