Huntsville star dies at 42

Keke Jabbar, a reality TV star from OWN’s “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” has died at the age of 42.

On Tuesday, July 2, social media personality Marcella Speaks announced Jabbar’s death after receiving a statement from Jabbar’s family. During a YouTube livestream, Speaks said Jabbar died “peacefully at home surrounded by love.”

The cause of death has not yet been determined.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love. She was a mother, a sister and a great friend full of life, love and laughter. She will be greatly missed and we ask for respect and privacy in this moment of grief as we process this great loss. The Jabbar family and the Scott family,” a statement said.

LaTisha Moore Scott, a cast member of the reality series and Jabbar’s cousin, commented on the sad news in a post on social media.

“In this moment of grief, we ask for RESPECT and PRIVACY as we process this great loss!” Scott shared on Instagram. “This is hard on our family!!!!!”

Fans flocked to the comments section of Jabbar’s final Instagram post to express their condolences. The star’s last post was a May 26 video in which she announced her new swim wig collection over Memorial Day weekend.

“Wow! Horrible and tragic news! She can finally find peace,” one user wrote.

“I hope someone gets her line out,” wrote another user.

Jabbar leaves behind three children, her husband and her parents.
