Huntsville star Keke Jabbar dies

Keke Jabbar has died at the age of 42, according to her family. News of the Love & Marriage: Huntsville star’s death hit social media on Tuesday (July 2).

She leaves behind her husband Ameen Jabbar, with whom she was married for almost 17 years. The couple married in December 2007, according to Sportskeeda. They have three children together: Ace, Aubree and Amaree.

Keke Jabbar’s family comments on her death

Marcella Speaks, blogger and social media personality, shared the family’s statement during a YouTube livestream. The 42-year-old died “peacefully at home” surrounded by her loved ones. However, the cause of death is currently unknown.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love. She was a mother, a sister and a great friend full of life, love and laughter. She will be greatly missed and in this moment of grief we ask for respect and privacy as we process this great loss,” the statement signed by the Jabbar family and the Scott family said.

Keke Jabbar’s cousin, LaTisha Moore Scott, also confirmed her death in a social media post on Tuesday.

“In this moment of grief, we ask for RESPECT and PRIVACY as we process this great loss! This is hard for our family,” LaTisha wrote. “This is hard for our family,” she added in the caption.

On May 22, Keke Jabbar shared a post celebrating her firstborn Amaree’s high school graduation. She thanked her village for helping her son reach this point in life!

“My first born graduated high school yesterday and it was such an emotional experience!! I never thought 18 years would go by so fast! We are so proud of you Amaree. Shine like the star you are!!! I have to thank everyone who helped us raise this boy!! We did an amazing job! I owe this to my grandparents, my parents, my family, my best friends, his coaches and everyone who supported him throughout the years!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support him…” Keke wrote.

The last post available on her Instagram page is from May 26. It’s a clip of Keke Jabbar enjoying a day of sun by the pool with her loved ones over Memorial Day weekend. In the post, she revealed that she’s working on a swim wig collection specifically for black girls.

The comment section has now been flooded with condolences from fans.
