2.5D rhythm action puzzle platformer ANTRO will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, publisher Selecta Play and developer Gatera Studio announced.

“The exciting mix of action, puzzles and platform gameplay with urban music makes for a truly exciting gaming experience. ANTRO was a title we were excited to bring to market,” said Javi Puertas, Head of Gaming at Selecta Play, in a press release. “Working with the talented team at Gatera Studio has been a great experience and we can’t wait to share more news on the release of. After the collapse, only one percent of humanity survived and had to flee underground. Beneath the old town of Barcelona lies ANTRO, a dirty and dark hole divided into geographical layers. The inhabitants of the lowest levels fight for survival through forced labor, while the inhabitants of the higher levels rule over the new underground world.

The government of ANTRO has become a totalitarian system, handing over power to a corporation based on technological overproduction and the automation of sectors called La Cupula. Freedom of speech has been censored, art and music are forbidden, and a rebellion seems to be brewing in the cave where they live.

Travel through the most remote places of the underground metropolis ANTRO and accompany the protagonist Nittch on his mission to deliver a package to a mysterious, unknown recipient. And while you’re at it, how about overthrowing the totalitarian government of La Cupula? Play with urban music in an exciting adventure full of action, puzzles and 2.5D platforming elements.

Explore ANTRO to the rhythm of hip-hop, drill, R&B and electronic music and move through the city while overcoming obstacles, whether by solving puzzles or traversing the environment in parkour. But be prepared to run at full speed, because in ANTRO there are plenty of chases and both you and the scenario move in sync with the music. But remember: the enemy is always lurking.
