Sonic just released a permanent value menu for $1.99

Attention, hungry readers: There is another affordable menu for you to discover this week.

This week, Sonic announced its own value menu, this time with a $1.99 menu that includes the new Sonic Queso Wraps, now available nationwide.

“More than ever, consumers value affordable food options, but they shouldn’t have to settle for the same old, boring discounts or bland meals. Many restaurant brands promote cheap meals and discounts, and you see a lot of recycled ideas with limited options. At Sonic, we wanted to do something different – something fun – so we focused on variety, which is why we’re introducing the new $1.99 menu, or as we like to call it the FUN.99 menu,” Sonic Chief Marketing Officer Ryan Dickerson shared in a statement. “The FUN.99 menu is all about choice and fun, whether you want one of our dozen shake flavors, a chili cheese coney or our legendary tots as a lunchtime snack – it’s all for just $1.99.”

Guests can get the Queso Wraps in two variations: the Bacon Ranch Queso Wrap, which is served with white meat, bacon, cheddar cheese, ranch and white queso in a flour tortilla, and the Southwest Crunch Queso Wrap, which is made with the same white meat and topped with Southwest sauce, tortilla strips, cheddar cheese and white queso in a flour tortilla.

But that’s not all. Sonic also offers a mix of snacks, desserts and entrees on its $1.99 menu, including a Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger, Chili Cheese Coney, Bacon Ranch Queso Wrap, Southwest Crunch Queso Wrap, Small Tots and all 12 flavors of Sonic Shakes in a 16-ounce size, including strawberry, chocolate and Oreo cheesecake.

Fans can also get another deal using the Sonic app, where they can get half-price drinks and slushies with any order through the app, and half-price Sonic cheeseburgers on Tuesday nights. And if you need even more deals, you can always grab the $5 meal at McDonald’s or Burger King, too.
