KeKe Jabbar from Huntsville dies at age 42

KeKe Jabbar, a cast member of the OWN reality show Love & Marriage: Huntsvilledied. She was 42.

The news was confirmed by YouTuber Marcella Speaks, who read a message from Jabbar’s family saying the reality star died “peacefully at home surrounded by love.”

“She was a mother, a sister, a great friend, full of life, love and laughter. We will miss her dearly,” Speaks said.

A cause of death has not yet been announced.

LaTisha Moore Scott, another cast member on the OWN reality series and Jabbar’s cousin, posted on Instagram: “In this moment of grief, we ask for respect and privacy as we process this great loss! This is hard on our family!”

Earlier this year, Jabbar was accused of using hard drugs and seeking outside help to pass a drug test.

“I have never taken hard drugs,” Jabbar said in Love & Marriage: Huntsville Reunion after being questioned by Carlos King, the show’s producer. “I’ve never done anything, heroin, cocaine, crack… I’ve never done anything like that.”

King also asked if Jabbar was sober throughout filming the series; the reality star confirmed that he was.

Love & Marriage: Huntsville follows three influential African-American couples and longtime friends who join forces to revitalize the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group.
