BAD BLOOD (w/t), expansion of the popular format

National: 03 July 2024: The fourth part of the popular “vs” series from Warner Bros. Discovery, TAYLOR SWIFT VS SCOOTER BRAUN: BAD BLOOD (w/t) Premiere on Discovery+ on 4th of Julyth2024, for the Indian audience. This docuseries joins the hugely popular ‘vs’ format which includes ‘Johnny vs. Amber’, ‘Kim vs. Kanye: The Divorce’ and ‘Vardy vs. Rooney: The Wagatha Trial’.

The two-part docuseries, produced by Optomen, explores the gripping feud between global pop superstar Taylor Swift and music mogul Scooter Braun, covering the $300 million dispute after Braun bought the rights to Swift’s first six albums in June 2019.

True to the “vs” format, the two episodes explore opposing sides of the dispute. One episode explores Swift’s view that the sale was done without her consultation and that she has since been prevented from buying back her master titles. The other episode examines Braun’s claims that Swift refused to negotiate and instead instigated a public feud by turning her fan base against him.

Viewers are taken on a comprehensive examination of the feud, exploring the intricacies of music ownership, gender dynamics in the industry, and the power of fan influence, all while diving deeper into the two polarized sides of the dispute and allowing them to form their own opinions.

The publicly available documentary series will feature legal experts, journalists and people close to Swift and Braun, who will present both sides of the argument.
