Gracie Abrams tells what Travis Kelce told her just before he went on stage with Taylor Swift

Gracie Abrams provides insights into Travis Kelce‘s surprise Cameo appearance on stage while Taylor Swift‘s show at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on June 23. During a visit to SiriusXM’s The Morning Mashup On Tuesday, Gracie spoke about her experiences on tour with the 34-year-old musician and revealed that she was very happy with Taylor’s Tight End of the Kansas City Chiefs Beau before he came on stage with her.

“Before we both performed, we were in the tent and he was like – he performed just before me, I think two songs or so. He was like, ‘I’m going to mess it up so you look really good,'” Gracie, who was also on stage with Taylor that night to sing her song “Us,” recalled the 34-year-old Travis’ performance.

Travis has spent countless hours seeing Taylor’s shows around the world, including Australia, Paris, Kansas City – where it all began – and most recently three consecutive shows in London and one in Dublin, Ireland. His cameo in London took place during The “Tortured Poets” section era, when Taylor changed from a dress to a two-piece thanks to her backup dancers. Travis – who wore a black tuxedo and top hat to match Taylor’s other dancers – carried his girlfriend of about a year onto the stage and stood by as her two other dancers took off her dress while he stood back and smiled.

On 24 June A person close to the couple told ET that Travis and the singer of “So High School” had long planned to bring him on stage for a performance, and that the stars finally aligned at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

The source told ET that while Travis’ appearance was manicured to perfection — including a sweet moment where he pretended to put makeup on Taylor’s face before she started singing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” — he only had a few hours to pull himself together.

The source added: “Travis only had one night of rehearsals, the night before his performance, and didn’t miss a beat. Taylor was all smiles as Travis took on the dapper role. The pair hope he can make another guest appearance in the future.”

This Monday, Taylor took to Instagram to look back on her three shows and thank the fans and friends – around 240,000 in total over the weekend – who came out to support her and rock out with her at the show.

“The first round at Wembley was so surreal. Looking out at 90,000 fans every night and hearing that VOLUME… They were some of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard,” Taylor wrote. “The acoustic parts were rad. I got to sing ‘Castles Crumbling’ with @yelyahwilliams for the first time – I hadn’t performed with her since 2011 and man, my heart was just so full of love for her and our friendship. Then the incredibly talented and wonderful @gracieabrams came on and surprised the crowd with the first rendition of our song ‘us’.”

She also acknowledged her boyfriend, the football star,’s Eras Tour debut, paying tribute to him individually and tagging him in a photo dump.

“And I’m still laughing my head off/falling in love with @killatrav’s debut on the Eras Tour 🥰 I’ll never forget these shows. Can’t wait to do this five more times in August. Next up: Dublin!!,” she wrote.

In May, a source told ET that the family and friends of Travis and Taylor – whose love story began last year – are suspicious of an engagement.

“Taylor and Travis are doing great and their loved ones see an engagement coming sooner rather than later,” the source said. “They are a great match, there’s no doubt about that.”

Gracie is excited to be part of Taylor’s Epoch Tour.

“Every single person on the team was just like, ‘Holy shit. Hey.’ Big hug. Tears, tears, tears. ‘Miss you so much. See you in the fall.’ That said, the fact that we get to go back is so exciting and such a relief because I can’t imagine this tour not happening,” she said. The Morning Mashup Hosted by Nicole Ryan, Ryan Sampson and Stanley T.

The 24-year-old singer added: “When she said at one of her shows the other day, ‘Oh, this tour ends in December,’ I was like, ‘Man.’ I never even thought about that happening. I’m so excited for everyone to hopefully rest up and stuff, but I’m going to miss it like crazy.”

When talking about the harvest of famous celebrities that Taylor has entertained Gracie admitted that she was continually fascinated by stars throughout the tour, especially when meeting Sir Paul McCartney of the Beatles.

“It’s just a community of really supportive people,” Gracie explained. “Everyone, really, whether you’re in the tent or in the top row in the stadium, it’s like everyone is there because there’s such deep joy and emotion attached to all the music that she’s put out over the last 18 years and it’s like, I don’t know. It’s a really magical thing.”
