Famous K-pop band BTS collaborates with Despicable Me 4 for the “Minions X BTS” mash-up art merchandise!

MUMBAI: The most entertaining franchise loved by audiences of all ages worldwide is coming back after 7 years, Despicable Me 4 is releasing on July 5th! Not only that, they are also collaborating with the world’s most iconic and influential music artists of the 21st century, the Bangtan Boys, better known as BTS. This wonderful collaboration of two global names with the help of Illumination and BIGHIT Music, UP & E brings a ‘Despicable Me 4 X BTS Collaboration’ for a limited edition merchandise capsule featuring ‘Minions X BTS’ mashup art inspired by their iconic outfits from their 2021 hit single ‘Permission to Dance’. Each member of the famous K-Pop group will be transformed into a Minions Funko Pop collection at the BTS pop-up experience events in Los Angeles, Seoul and Tokyo. The famous K-pop band will also perform as “Minions Despicable Me 4,” where each member will be transformed into the iconic yellow Minions, grooving to their catchy hits and combining the charm and energy of BTS and the Minions.

The collaboration celebrates the introduction of a new character in Despicable Me 4, Poppy Prescott, voiced by Joey King, who describes himself as a member of the BTS ARMY. Joey was also seen at the first pop-up experience event that kicked off in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, along with hundreds of press and influencers.
