Keke Jabbar, who rose to fame as a reality TV star through the show Love & Marriage: Huntsville, has died at the age of 42. On Tuesday, July 2, social media star Marcella Speaks announced Jabbar’s death after receiving the statement from Jabbar’s family. The cause of death was not disclosed.

Family says Keke Jabbar will be sorely missed

During a YouTube livestream, Marcella read the family’s statement, announcing that Jabbar died peacefully at home surrounded by love. The statement continued: “She was a mother, a sister and a great friend full of life, love and laughter. She will be greatly missed.”

Jabbar’s cousin LaTisha Moore Scott, who appears on the reality series OWN, also posted the news of her death on social media. She asked her fans for privacy during this difficult time. Keke Jabbar leaves behind her three children, her husband, her parents and her cousins.

Who was Keke Jabbar?

On the reality TV show, Jabbar and Scott were notoriously feuding throughout their relationship, with cameras capturing their fragile relationship, including heated exchanges.

In a scene from an earlier season, Jabbar and Scott got into a heated argument that ended with Jabbar throwing a drink in Scott’s face. Jabbar was accused earlier this year of failing a drug test using another person’s urine and using hard drugs.
