Christopher “Chris” Lynn Shively, a beloved father and husband and resident of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the age of 76.

Born on December 1, 1947, Chris is survived by his wife Judith (Rogers) Shively, his daughter Sarah (Shively) Fox and her husband Robert Fox Jr. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Herbert Rogers and his wife Diane, his brother-in-law James Laughlin and his wife Donna, Bonnie Brady, Janet Stoneburner, his brother-in-law Sam Dibacco and his wife MaryAnne, his sister-in-law Sharon Shively, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Chris was a devoted father, husband and brother who always put the needs of his friends and family before his own. His parents Virgil and Virginia Shively and his brothers and sisters-in-law Carl “Sam” and Joyce Shively, Douglas and Joan Shively, brother Eric Shively, sister Stephanie Nathan, mother-in-law Elva Rogers, brothers-in-law William Brady and Robert Stoneburner, along with four nephews and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21st from 2-4 p.m. at McConnells Funeral Home with services beginning at 4 p.m. followed by dinner at Millcreek Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Georgetown United Methodist Church, 220 Market St., Georgetown, PA 15043.

Those who knew and loved Chris will miss him dearly and remember him forever.
