“I don’t care that I’m famous…”

“I don’t care that I’m famous…”

Dolly Parton would never let fame stop her from doing anything.
The 77-year-old country music legend has been known around the world for decades, but does not let her lack of anonymity stop her from her activities, as she “doesn’t care” about the lack of privacy.
She told E! News: “Anything I really want to do, I do. I don’t care about being famous.”
When the “Jolene” singer, who has been married to Carl Thomas Dean since 1966, was asked what “scares” her in life, she admitted that she finds it difficult to live in a world where some people are “crazy and crazy,” while the population now has to figure out how to cope with that.
“It scares me that people aren’t better to each other and that we have to live in a world where people are crazy and insane and you have to try to figure out how to cope with that.”
The “9 to 5” star has released nearly 50 studio albums during her long career, but revealed that a particular “highlight” of her life remains being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in Tennessee over 50 years ago. She admitted that if she hadn’t been so successful in music, she might have become a beautician.
She said, “Well, I’m proud of all of them, but I think one of the things that sticks with me is that when I was younger, I wanted to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. When I became a member in the late ’60s, that’s still a highlight of my life for me.”
“If I hadn’t been in show business and hadn’t made it, I probably would have been a beautician because I would still have had all that hair and makeup.”
