Just Stop Oil breaks into VIP airport “where Taylor Swift’s luxury private jet is parked” and pours orange paint over planes

Two Just Stop Oil activists broke into a private VIP airstrip at Stansted Airport and spray painted planes “hours after Taylor Swift’s own jet arrived.”

Earlier yesterday, the group desecrated Stonehenge after two activists were arrested for spraying the stones with orange paint, sparking widespread condemnation around the world.

The action began shortly after 5 a.m. when two protesters, Jennifer Kowalski and Cole Macdonald, entered the private airfield and attacked the jets with fire extinguishers filled with orange paint.

Taylor Swift will perform the latest installment of her globetrotting “Era” tour at Wembley Stadium on Friday night, but it is currently unknown whether the star’s jet was at the airfield or if it was attacked.

A video from the crime scene shows the two activists brazenly cutting through a chain-link fence at the edge of the airfield and crawling underneath to gain access.

A spokesman for the group announced the break-in on social media and “justified” the action by saying that “80 percent of the population had never flown before.”

According to MailOnline, the pair have now been arrested and have contacted Essex Police for information.

Before the stunt, 28-year-old Jennifer Kowalski, who describes herself as a full-time JSO activist on LinkedIn, claimed she had to take “desperate measures to make her voice heard.”

It is the latest in a series of sensational stunts that the group has forced on the public this summer.

Video footage posted on social media shows two people wearing white shirts with the words “Just Stop Oil” on the front, walking towards the old monoliths with canisters and spraying them completely with paint.

In a heroic attempt to stop the group from desecrating the stones, a woman desperately tried to drag the protesters away before other citizens came to her aid.

The protesters, 21-year-old Niamh Lynch, a student from Oxford, and 73-year-old Rajan Naidu from Birmingham, have since been arrested by police on suspicion of damaging the historic monument.

As the police led the couple away, a man was heard shouting: “You filthy scum. This is a temple, not a publicity stunt!”

The incident, which occurred around 12pm today, a day before the summer solstice celebrations at Stonehenge, the heart of a World Heritage site, saw several stones – dating to the late Neolithic period – uncovered.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned the attack as a “disgraceful act of vandalism against one of Britain’s and the world’s oldest and most significant monuments.”

Several stones were covered with the substance before the protesters stopped and sat cross-legged on the grass.

The Prime Minister continued: “Just Stop Oil should be ashamed of its activists and they and all those associated with them, including a certain Labour Party donor, should immediately condemn this disgraceful act.”

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said: “Just Stop Oil is pathetic” after activists from the group targeted Stonehenge.

In a tweet, he wrote: “The damage done to Stonehenge is outrageous. Just Stop Oil is pathetic. Those responsible must face the full force of the law.”

Historian Tom Holland, who previously described Stonehenge as one of the Europe’s most valuable prehistoric sitesThe Finnish media representative also criticized the attack.

On X he wrote: “Show your concern for the planet by destroying endangered lichen species. Compassion turns to outright hatred.”

Wiltshire Police said officers arrived at the scene and arrested two people.

A spokesman added: “Around midday, we responded to a report that two suspects had sprayed orange paint on some of the stones.”

“Officers went to the scene and arrested two people on suspicion of damaging the ancient monument.”

“Our investigations are ongoing and we are working closely with English Heritage.”
