Heart postpones 2024 tour after singer’s cancer diagnosis

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – American rock band Heart has announced that their 2024 Royal Flush Tour, including an October show at T-Mobile Center, has been postponed due to medical reasons.

This announcement came just minutes before Hearts lead singer, Ann Wilsonannounced a cancer diagnosis through X.

Wilson responded to the post by saying that she recently underwent surgery to “remove something that turned out to be cancerous.” Wilson claimed that the surgery went smoothly and that she feels “great.” However, her doctors advised her to undergo preventative chemotherapy, which will keep her off the stage for the rest of the year.

The band claims that fans should keep their tickets, and Wilson says in her statement that she “absolutely plans to be back on stage in 2025.”
