BTS’ Jimin and Jung Kook star in Disney+ reality travel series

Jimin and Jung Kook are going on adventures together! The BTS stars will release a new travel reality show together called Are you sure?!exclusively on Disney+.

The eight-part series, filmed in 2023 before the duo joined the South Korean army, follows Jimin and Jung Kook as they travel to three iconic destinations around the world: upstate New York in the US, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo in Japan. Are you sure?! “takes viewers on a fun-filled journey with Jimin and Jung Kook as they eat, shop, cook, camp, canoe, swim, and go on a road trip together,” a press release states, and “provides deeper insights into the undeniable chemistry and deep friendship between Jimin and Jung Kook as they grow together over a variety of unforgettable moments throughout the journey, immerse themselves in different cultures, explore various action-packed activities, and try out local cuisines.”

The news comes shortly after a cryptic teaser was posted on social media showing a slideshow of photos showing two band members exploring nature together. In a November episode of SearchwitaOn BTS’ Suga’s YouTube talk show, Jung Kook appeared as a guest and revealed that he and Jimin once talked about filming their adventures together around the globe.

“When filming with Jimin a long time ago, he said it might be fun to do a traveling variety show with me and I agreed,” Jung Kook told Suga in the video, according to YouTube’s English translation. “But nothing came of it after that. Then they suddenly planned a shoot.”

Are you sure?! will be available to stream on Disney+ beginning August 8, with new episodes released every Thursday through September 19.
