Judge Sofia Vergara commented early Tuesday evening America’s Got Talent that season 19 seems to be “the season of the cool kids.” The last act of the evening, the 9-year-old singer Pranysqa Mishra from Tampa, Florida, backed up her words.

Your interpretation of Tina Turner‘s “River Deep Mountain High” brought her Heidi Klum‘s second Golden Buzzer of the season when Pranysqa’s loud voice surprised everyone.

“Oh my God, I didn’t expect that,” Heidi said. “We expect a lot of things, but I didn’t expect that. And you know what I’m going to do now, because I honestly don’t want to hear what Howie, Sofia and Simon have to say? I want you to call your grandmother and tell her that Heidi Klum pressed the Golden Buzzer for you.”

And that’s exactly what she did.

When Heidi came on stage to hug Pranysqa, the younger singer was overwhelmed. In fact, she was too overwhelmed to speak as host Terry Crews asked her how she felt.

So Heidi took responsibility and said, “Congratulations. You deserve it. You were just incredible.”

They then went backstage where they called Pranysqa’s grandmother.

Heidi told her, “She did really well. She got my Golden Buzzer.”

Previously, Pranysqa had spoken about how she has always loved singing because it makes her happy.

“When I was 4 years old, I would pretend I had a microphone and sing like I was singing for the whole world,” she said. “My grandmother always tells me to sing with all my heart and one day I’ll be on a big stage.”

Her grandmother’s prediction came true. Pranysqa not only stood on a big stage, she also went straight into the America’s Got Talent Live shows.

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8pm ET/PT on NBC. It streams the next day on Peacock.
